Changing Houses Into Homes - Jan Wentland

Intro Paragraph
Selling Trends - Sellers Are Still Selling With New Guidelines For Presenting A House.
With the current pandemic we are in, Realtors have had to adjust to very different ways of selling and listing homes.
When listing homes, I will work diligently to keep sellers safe and healthy while allowing different ways of buyers being able to see the home. Virtual tours are being prepared and U-tube videos are being made for potential buyers to see.
Our MLS has announced that showings will only be 30 minutes long and only 2 people and the agent are allowed into the home. We are being asked to have the buyer(s)’ agents to view a virtual tour with their clients before they do an actual showing.
I personally are respectfully asking not to bring children in and to avoid touching things. As we continue in this current situation, things could change but I must stay on top of the info and provide to my sellers.

Buying Trends - Buyers Are Still Buying Even Though Rules Have Changed
With our current pandemic, Realtors have had to adjust and learn all new ways of helping our buyers look at and purchase a home.
We have lots of changes for listing homes and we have many rules to follow with our buyers.
Some of them include:
Showings can only be 30 minutes in duration.
Only 2 people plus the agent can go into the home.
Our MLS is also suggesting we do a virtual tour of the home together before we make an appointment.
We are also being asked to tell our buyers to try not to touch things in the home.
We, as the showing agent s, are trying to find booties to put over shoes and hand sanitizer to take with us for you to use.
As we continue in this situation, I am sure that things will change again and it is my responsibility to keep my clients updated.
